Hi, I’m Alice Ray, a Miami-based photographer with over a decade behind the lens, specializing in families, couples, and portraits.
My work starts long before the shutter clicks. For me, the most important moment of any shoot is when my client stops thinking about the camera and simply is. I guide every session with intention: through movement, direction, and genuine conversation, I create the kind of ease that lets real emotions surface naturally. And that’s when the magic happens.
I’m drawn to natural light, outdoor settings, and the quiet authenticity that comes when people feel truly comfortable. My editing style reflects that same philosophy: true-to-life color, clean tones, and nothing overdone. I want your photos to look like you, not a filter.
My love for photography started at 15, flipping through the pages of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and feeling something stir.
By 17, I had my first client, a magazine, and I never looked back. Since then, my work has appeared across multiple editorial publications, but what drives me most is the personal: the family that laughs together mid-shoot, the couple that forgets I’m even there, the portrait that captures something even the subject didn’t know was showing.
